What can the Brush Buddy do?
The Brush Buddy (BB) is the ultimate cleaning and grooming tool. It cleans your pooch with thousands of soft rubber bristles that gently lift debris, hair, stimulates a healthy coat and provides an outstanding massage. The flip side is a towel that can dry off your pooch. The rubber side of the product even removes hair from furniture and car seats.
Does it work on long haired dogs?
If you have a long haired, dirty dog…The Brush Buddy does a great job of removing the debris and shedding hair. They will undoubtedly enjoy the experience and the towel offers a great massage. The Brush Buddy will not replace a specialized dog brush for long haired pooches.
Does it work on small dogs?
The product was designed primarily for dogs that are 15 lbs to very large dogs. The product does work on toy breed dogs but some toy breeds can be very skittish and sensitive.
Does it work on cats or other animals?
We created this product for dogs. We’ve seen several cats in the ultimate Brush Buddy bliss but it might prove a little big for most cats. If your cat is a lover, there is a good chance they will love the BB. Others have told us this product is great on horses and even goats!
How do the rubber teeth work?
The rubber teeth side of the BB is made up of densely located, soft rubber bristles. These bristles can probe almost ANY part of your dog’s body including paws, head and stomach. The dense bristles loosen and remove debris in your dogs coat or on their body. The rubber bristles, when moved through a dog’s coat, creates an electrostatic charge naturally removing shedding hair from your dog’s coat and stimulates the natural oil distribution over your dog’s coat.
How do you get the debris and hair out of the Brush side?
The easiest way to remove dog hair and debris in our rubber bristles is to grab one end of the product and snap it like a towel. This will loosen and/or remove debris and dog hair or at least bring it to the surface.
When should I use the Brush Buddy?
Everyday, anywhere, at any time. That’s the beauty of the BB. The multi-functional uses, solid manufacturing, flexibility and soft bristles allow you to use the product at any time, in any place in any situation. Some people use the product every day as a ritual with their dog to remove dirt, dog hair and/or give their pooch some dedicated love and attention. Other people take it with them to the dog park or lake and use it before the dog jumps back in the car to remove dirt and shedding hair.
How does the Brush Buddy promote bonding with my dog?
The design of our product requires that your wrap your arms around your dog to apply the brush side. The soft rubber bristles allow you to apply the BB to any part of your dog to remove shedding hair and debris. This also gives your pooch a wonderful massage as your hands fit in our custom rubber pockets like hands in a mitten allowing you to gently massage and you go over your dog’s entire body. We encourage you to talk to your pooch while applying the brush and tell them how much you love them... they’ll lick you for it!
How can I give my dog a massage with the BB?
Slip your hands in the customized pockets on the BB and they should fit like a mitten. Then place the BB/your hands on your dog’s shoulders and start massaging with your hands just like you would massage a human. Work your way down to the tail. Often times your dog will lay down and roll over for a tummy and chest rub. All the while you are removing shedding hair, debris and stimulating the coat.
The BB is really dirty, how can I clean it?
Simply through the product in the washing machine on gentle cycle. Hang it out to dry or throw in the drying on tumble.
How do I remove hair from a car seat or furniture with the Brush Buddy?
Simply put your hands in the pockets with the rubber teeth down toward the seat. Give your furniture or car seat a couple of good swipes and the hair will be grabbed by the BB or ball up for your removal.
Where do I store the Brush Buddy?
The Brush Buddy should not be left in direct sun. Please store the product in a cool, dry location whenever possible.
